This year, that quote feels especially personal. After years of balancing leadership, research, parenting, and life’s many layers, I graduated with my doctorate.
What I’ve learned, through my own journey and through the journeys of the students and families I’ve had the privilege to serve, is that believing in your dreams isn’t just a sentiment. It’s a daily act of courage.
Whether you’re crossing the stage in cap and gown or cheering from the sidelines, remember: graduation is not the finish line. It’s a moment to honor how far you’ve come, and then take that next brave step forward.
Here’s to all the dreamers, doers, and believers. Keep going. The world needs you.
