After 34 years in education, serving as a teacher, leader, consultant, and most recently as a district director overseeing an International Baccalaureate continuum, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the power of great teaching, courageous leadership, and community-rooted innovation. But I’ve also seen what happens when systems silence the very voices they need to hear.
That’s why I created Addor-ation Innovation Services.
The name is more than a nod to my last name, Addor; it’s a declaration of love for the work. Adoration is what I’ve always felt for this field: for the messy, meaningful, human heart of education. It honors the teachers, students, and families who show up every day, not because it’s easy, but because it’s important.
And Innovation? That’s not about the latest app or trend. It’s about bold thinking. It’s about having the courage to ask, “Is this still working?” and the vision to build something better. It’s about designing schools, systems, and professional learning that serve real people, in real time, with equity, intention, and clarity.
This company is a culmination of everything I’ve learned, but more importantly, it’s a liberation. I’m stepping into this new chapter with joy, integrity, and my unfiltered voice. No more bending to bureaucracy. No more keeping the peace at the expense of progress. I’m here to say the hard things kindly, to build bridges that hold weight, and to partner with educators and leaders who are ready to move from compliance to impact.
Addor-ation Innovation is my way of continuing to serve, just on my terms now. Fueled by passion, grounded in decades of experience, and committed to helping schools and systems not just improve, but transform.
I’m proud of the road that got me here. But I’m even more excited about where I’m going—and who’s coming with me.
